Timothy Soar's image making is engaged in a constant process of enquiry, exploration and discovery, his work is defined by a desire to seek out and render manifest those parts of the built environment that best exemplify the human urge to create, recreate and evolve. Supported by a highly educated and superbly talented team, he strives to challenge perceptions and refine vision. Tim believes in seeing the best possible outcome in every commission, looking for structure, rhythm, pattern he seeks to make work that directly effects the viewer, images of great clarity and strength help magnify and viscerally communicate each projects most compelling values.
Tim's published credits include covers and features in titles as diverse as; The Sunday Times, The Architectural Digest, Architectural Review, ID New York, The World of Interiors and Ag. His photography has been seen at The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Institute of British Architects, The Royal Academy and has been supported internationally by public, private and corporate collections acquiring prints. He has lectured for Kodak and Linhof and presented seminars at 100% Design and The National Exhibition Centre. Tim has enjoyed regular columns in The Architects Journal and Practical Photography magazine. Many of the most influential designers of our times have commissioned Tim, with his photographic insight celebrated by Lord Foster and Robert Venturi amongst many others. He has travelled the world making photographs and regularly accepts commissions to some of the most far flung and interesting locations.
